Opportunity for a Finance Manager to manage a team responsible for the day to day financial activities of the business and provide advice and recommendations to management for future financial plans. Opportunity to lead a team, work closely with senior management, contribute directly to the company's financial health and long-term strategy What you will be doing: Oversee finance department operations, set goals, and design frameworks to achieve these goals Maintain and improve internal systems to ensure compliance with relevant legislation Prepare annual financial statements, management accounts, payroll, VAT, and tax submissions Provide financial reports and recommendations to management Conduct cost-reduction reviews and evaluate opportunities Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts Ensure compliance with SARS requirements: Income Tax, Provisional Tax, VAT, PAYE, UIF, and Dividend Tax Lead daily and weekly meetings with the Accounts Team and report directly to Director Liaise across departments on company plans and financial strategies What we are looking for: Degree or CA(SA) At least 5 years' experience in Finance or Accounting within the travel / tourism industry or similar Proficient in Pastel, advanced Excel, Word, and SAGE Payroll and File Director Strong knowledge of the German market and culture (German-speaking an advantage) Proven leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills Able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adapt to extended hours when needed Please note if you haven't heard back from us within two weeks of submitting your application, unfortunately your application has not been successful this time.
