The ideal candidate will be responsible for working cross-functionally to understand architecture needs by multiple business units. To be effective in this position, you must feel comfortable owning the entire architecture development process from inception to completion. Responsibilities Lead architecture initiatives from inception to completion Collaborate with business users to create architecture in alignment with business need Act as a technical subject matter expert for business users Champion the adoption of reusable architecture assets to improve efficiency Produce documentation to aid in the understanding of existing architecture solutions Qualifications Matric (Grade 12) NDip in Telecommunications and/or Information Technology / Computer Science. Advanced Certifications in Huawei Data Communication, Optical, Enterprise Services and Software technologies, skilled in various disciplines that support innovative thinking in architecting critical industrial operational communication solutions. Preferred Qualifications B.Tech / Degree in Telecommunications / Information Technology / Computer Science / Engineering. Experience Required 5-10 years of industrial operational technologies networking experience in the OT environment. Knowledge and background in Mining, Oil & Gas, and Port verticals. 2-5 years of project experience. 2-5 years in a team lead position, guiding and assisting with installations and commissioning of industrial connectivity networks (advantageous). 5-10 years of experience in Telecommunications and/or Operational, Information Technology / Microsoft Office 365 / Connectivity environments / with an inclination towards civil and mechanical disciplines and analytical thinking (advantageous).
