Description: Analyze, identify, and establish current brand positioning and values Research trends and interpret them for the market Design and implement a research-based strategy with a core focus on building ranges within the brand Measure and consistently interpret brand performance Grow and sustain brand equity Liaise with suppliers in support of the function ahead of the season Conduct sales forecasting, planning, and inventory control in collaboration with the Planner Stay informed of market trends and economic conditions to anticipate changes to brand strategy Procure the right product at the right price at the right time Lead range development Manage development samples until confirmation samples are received; manage and track orders Maintain supplier communication regarding product Maintain customer communication regarding product at all times Check and sign purchase orders before sending them to suppliers Interpret the BHAG annual plan into GMROI Analyze the GMROI annual plan and conduct monthly checks Maintain seasonal maps, daily and weekly Monitor daily sell-through and take immediate action Requirements: Tertiary qualification in Marketing Management, Brand Management, Brand Strategy, or Fashion Retail Marketing Management 68 years of solid experience as a Brand Manager within the fashion retail sector Additional experience as a Senior Buyer within fashion retail with exposure to and understanding of Planning Proven experience in building product ranges Advanced command of MS Excel Strong ability to interpret numerical and sales information to drive the brand Willingness to travel locally and internationally, often Exceptional business presentation skills Please note only candidates that meet the minimum requirements will be considered.
