Sales people - must have Industrial Engineering exp We are looking for 5 Junior to Intermediate Industrial Engineering Sales People. Position: Permanent, based in Johannesburg. Must be willing to relocate near the Company and start work immediately in November and December 2025 and January 2026. Requirements: Matric Relevant Degrees/Diploma/Certificates in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, Instrumentation or Sales Driver’s License and own vehicle Experience with Metal Fabrication Services, Machine Shop Services, 6‑Axis Robots, PLCs or other Turn‑Key Industrial Automation Engineering Industry products, or Engineering Project sales experience in the mentioned sectors Experience in Industrial engineering sectors: Automotive, Mining, FMCG, Manufacturing, Utilities (Electricity, Gas, Water) or related industries 1–2 years experience promoting automation solutions such as PLCs, SCADA, sensors, drives, instrumentation, control systems Must be willing to travel to clients for product solutions Key Responsibilities Identify and engage potential customers in industrial sectors such as manufacturing, mining, FMCG, automotive, and utilities. Conduct product presentations, site visits, and technical discussions with engineers, technicians, and plant managers. Understand customer processes and provide tailored automation solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and safety. Prepare technical quotations, proposals, and tenders in collaboration with the engineering team. Negotiate pricing and contract terms to close sales deals. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and support long‑term partnerships. Monitor competitors, industry trends, and new market opportunities. Work closely with internal technical, projects and support teams to ensure accurate product delivery and customer satisfaction. Leads generated by marketing team. Track sales activities, pipeline status, and meet monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPI metrics. Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade shows, and client workshops. Required Skills & Competencies Ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. Customer-focused with strong relationship‑building ability. Target-driven with strong business development mindset. Good planning, CRM usage, and reporting skills. Monthly salary to be discussed (salary package depends on skills, qualifications and years of experience). Discretionary annual performance bonus – commission to be discussed. Please note: there is a Pension Scheme which will be taken off your Net Salary, not negotiable. The company does not pay half of the pension.
