Industrial Engineer

Triz Engineering Solutions is looking for a talented Industrial Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transitioning engineering designs and data into production, forming a key part of the engineering release process. This role involves managing industrial and process engineering functions, including reviewing and approving sub-systems for build feasibility, setting up detailed production line process models, and investigating production line issues. Apart from being a contained and well-rounded person with a high EQ level, he / she will be required to deal with complexity in a fast-paced environment. The person needs to be a self-starter with attention to detail and bring a positive energy to the work environment, with a willingness to excel in their role. Triz Engineering Solutions is a premium product engineering and development company specializing in end-to-end turn-key commercial vehicle development. We provide end-to-end engineering services for commercial vehicle engineering and development from feasibility and conceptualization, through productionization and service support. Our solutions include zero emissions such as battery electric- and fuel cell- as well as hybrid- or conventional powered products. We also offer solutions for other advanced vehicle technologies such as ADAS, vehicle autonomy, and telematics. Our services are turnkey solutions that are validation tested and ready for mass production. Our product development expertise includes medium and heavy-duty commercial vehicles in applications such as delivery, bus, motorhome, off highway, refuse, and several other specialized and vocational vehicle markets. Requirements Bachelor's / B Tech Degree in Industrial / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification(s) 3 years plus of post-graduate in industrial and process engineering, preferably in the automotive industry. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production line dynamics. Experience with time studies and production line optimization. Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and production teams. 3D Modeling Software Experience (would be an advantage) Willing to travel overseas for variable periods. Responsibilities Transition engineering designs and data into production, ensuring seamless integration and implementation. Participate in the engineering release process, ensuring all industrial and process engineering functions are addressed. Collaborate with the engineering team to review and approve sub-systems for each product line in terms of build feasibility. Develop detailed production line process models detailing how and where subassemblies are installed on the production floor. Investigate and resolve issues found on the production line, implementing corrective actions as necessary. Conduct time studies and production line optimization to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management, to align engineering projects with business objectives. Maintain thorough documentation of process models, methodologies, and findings. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and efficiency. Excellent Written and Verbal Communication (English) Computer literacy with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Working Hours 08h H00, Monday to Friday (subject to change) with core hours and flexi time, and may require overtime if operationally required. Leave is based on statutory requirements.
