JOB DESCRIPTION Accountable for the planning, design, and engineering of enterprise-level infrastructure and platforms. Infrastructure includes hardware, operating systems, database management systems, network, and security. This may include Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS). The AWS DevOps Engineer will have significant experience in system development and has developed broad and deep expertise in software, hardware, data structures, integration, communications technology, as well as other emerging services across multiple platforms. Works closely with Architects and Management to ensure designs align with the technological and business directions of the enterprise. The role focuses on the overall design, build, and integration of solutions or platforms spanning multiple complex technical and / or business capability domains with significant cost / strategic implications. As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will play a crucial role in architecting and implementing fully automated (IaC / Terraform), secure, reliable, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions. You will be part of a highly technical and cross-functional team, working closely with cloud / DevOps engineers, platform delivery leads, solution architects, enterprise architects, and other stakeholders. RESPONSIBILITIES Work closely with solution architects, cloud engineers, and provide support to product managers, ensuring designs align with technical and business direction across the company. Write clean, high-performance, well-tested infrastructure code with a focus on reusability and automation (i.e., Shell, Python, Ansible, Bash, etc.). Experience with the automation of AWS environments through CI / CD processes. Support the platform delivery lead on prioritization of the product backlog, refining product roadmap, reporting, KPIs, and releases. Actively participate and contribute in all sprint ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives, sprint demos, and backlog grooming). Technical design, development, and problem-solving. Act as a technical leader with specialized skills / knowledge recognized across the organization. Help others troubleshoot and resolve complex issues. REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in architecting and implementing fully automated (IaC / Terraform), secure, reliable, scalable, and resilient AWS cloud solutions. 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud. AWS certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, AWS DevOps Engineer, AWS SysOps Administrator). Subject matter expert in Cloud Security and / or Cloud Networking - Preferred to have an AWS Specialty certification. Experience with DevOps concepts, tools (containers, CI / CD - GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible, etc.), and emerging technologies. Experience with on-prem to cloud migration. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to thrive in a collaborative and cross-functional environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
