The Role : Senior Financial Manager This role will oversee the full financial function ensuring accuracy compliance and integrity of financial reporting. The Senior Financial Manager will lead the finance team manage reporting cycles budgeting and cash flow and drive process and system improvements to support strategic growth and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Lead mentor and manage the finance team to achieve strategic goals. Oversee the preparation of monthly quarterly and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Ensure accuracy of general ledger accounts payable / receivable revenue and fixed asset registers. Maintain strong internal controls and ensure statutory and regulatory compliance. Lead budgeting processes conduct variance analysis and prepare financial forecasts. Manage cash flow banking relationships and funding requirements. Support financial due diligence valuation modelling and integration planning for acquisitions. Drive automation and efficiency improvements in financial systems and reporting. Collaborate with auditors legal teams and operations to assess financial risks and opportunities. About You Chartered Accountant (CA) with a bachelors degree or equivalent (NQF Level 7). 10 years of experience as a Financial Manager with at least 10 years in finance leadership roles. 5 years industry experience in cargo freight or transport. Strong knowledge of IFRS tax VAT and accounting regulations. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in accounting systems (e.g. Accpac). Proven leadership mentoring and team management abilities. Strong analytical problem-solving and time management skills. Proactive detail-oriented and able to perform under pressure. Own vehicle and valid drivers license with flexibility to work overtime during peak periods.
