SAP EWM Solution Architect – Dis‑Chem Pharmacies (Midrand) Dis‑Chem Pharmacies is offering a full‑time position for a SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Solution Architect to join our head office in Midrand. The candidate will lead the design, implementation and optimisation of EWM solutions, ensuring alignment with our logistics and supply chain goals. Key Responsibilities Lead end‑to‑end EWM solution design, from blueprinting and architecture to deployment. Architect and configure key EWM functionalities—including inbound/outbound processes, internal warehouse movements, labour management, RF frameworks, and yard management. Oversee integration with SAP S/4HANA and other SAP modules such as TM, MM, and SD. Drive EWM implementation projects, including go‑live and hyper‑care support. Provide thought leadership, guidance on new SAP technologies, and continuous process optimisation. Act as the primary point of contact for all SAP EWM‑related topics and support user training, documentation and knowledge transfer. Collaborate with business owners, supply‑chain leaders and IT teams to identify improvement opportunities. Qualifications Grade 12 / Matric or a Senior Certificate. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain or a related field. 8+ years of experience in SAP implementations, with at least 5 years specialising in SAP EWM. Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant in complex SAP EWM deployments. Preferred Qualifications Certification in SAP EWM or SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain. Experience leading architecture across multiple warehouses and distribution centres. Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA interfaces and best practices, security and performance standards. Other Requirements Occasional travelling is required. Must be a South African citizen. Must hold a MIE, clear criminal and credit history. Driver’s licence and/or reliable transport is required.
