SUMMARY PRINTER TECHNICIAN (KYOCERA) - PIETERMARITZBURG POSITION INFO RedCat Recruitment is seeking a qualified and experienced PRINTER TECHNICIAN (KYOCERA) for a growing company based in Pietermaritzburg, KwaZulu-Natal. QUALIFICATIONS Grade 12 qualification. IT certification or diploma (A+, N+, MCSE, or equivalent) is advantageous. Kyocera technical certifications / Training or certification in PaperCut or ScannerVision is a strong advantage Valid Code 08 driver’s license / own reliable vehicle. Computer literacy (MS Office, Email / Internet). Years experience as a Printer Technician. Strong knowledge of Managed Document Services (MDS). Understanding of networking, Windows Server, and Active Directory. RESPONSIBILITIES Experience with printer protocols (PCL, PostScript) and troubleshooting print queues. Install, maintain, and repair Kyocera printers, copiers, and multifunction devices on client sites. Configure and support document solutions, including PaperCut MF and ScannerVision. Integrate print and scan workflows with existing IT infrastructure. Provide remote and on-site troubleshooting and technical support. Work closely with clients to assess needs, recommend solutions, and deliver training. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Stay updated with new Kyocera models, firmware updates, and solutions.
