National Sales Manager - Healthcare Logistics SA DP World Centurion, Gauteng, South Africa To enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the Healthcare SA sales team by aligning commercial and marketing strategies with business goals. This role requires strategic thinking, commercial insight, and the ability to lead cross‑functional initiatives and will ensure optimal performance through continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, and robust management of commercial processes and systems. Key Performance Areas Implement corporate governance and compliance policies in order to manage risk liabilities. Analyse, interpret and produce detailed reports explaining trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies measured against planned activities. Develop a plan for practice changes and specify the priorities of delivery plans and resources needed 1 to 2 years. Develop and ensure implementation of people capacity plans in line with performance objectives. Implement and manage workforce planning, recruitment, learning and development, performance management, reward and recognition and employee relations to ensure an optimal working environment. Create an engaging, enabling and productive work climate aligned to the employee value proposition by demonstrating leadership through personal commitment to organisational values. Contribute to the setting of budgets, minimise expenditure and manage costs and assets effectively. Develop and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders that contributes to a culture of customer service excellence. Develop initiatives to enhance customer service excellence. Generate effective leads and opportunities. Enhance and maintain the CRM system to align with business needs, ensuring it effectively supports customer interactions, sales processes, and data management. Ensure that data is accurately entered and managed on relevant business systems. Create reports linked to KPIs using analytics. Establish the practice, methods and tools required for optimal data analytics. Implement best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Negotiate contract renewals and amendments with clients. Drive the account planning and sales forecasting processes for strategic client accounts including all operating entities. Act as an ambassador for the company at all times when working and promoting and demonstrate positive behaviours in harmony with company principles and values and culture. Qualifications Required Honours degree (NQF Level 8) in Life Sciences, Business, or related field. Additional business qualifications are an advantage. Experience and Skills Required Up to 8 years of experience in a similar environment with at least 5 years operational leadership or specialist experience. Proven track record in both Primary care and Specialty care environments. Experience in environments conducting sales in Infectious diseases or Hepatology is highly desirable. Experience within the private and public sectors is desirable. Multinational experience is desirable but not mandatory.
