About the Role We’re looking for a seasoned Data Engineer to join our Platform Engineering team, shaping how data flows across the organisation. In this role, you’ll design and implement robust, scalable data pipelines and solutions within our AWS environment, playing a key role in how data is ingested, transformed, and delivered to power insights and decision‑making across the business. Must‑Haves 5+ years in data engineering or a related field. Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and version control tools such as Git. Hands‑on experience with AWS and cloud‑native data architecture. Proven ability to design and manage data pipelines and data modelling. Ability to work independently and drive initiatives forward. Nice‑to‑Haves Experience with Salesforce Data Cloud or Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Exposure to vendor data integration and file‑based processing. What Will You Be Doing Designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines in a cloud‑native AWS environment. Developing and optimizing stored procedures and data streams. Integrating data from various sources (e.g., APIs, databases, flat files) into data warehouses or data lakes. Mapping and integrating external vendor data into our ecosystem. Contributing to the design and architecture of end‑to‑end data platforms. Conducting peer reviews and maintaining version control best practices. Collaborating with cross‑functional teams on data architecture, modelling, and ingestion strategies. Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. Ensuring quality, performance, and scalability of data solutions.
