Job Purpose The Human Capital Business Partner will be based at the Glacier office in Rosebank and will be responsible for implementing and delivering human capital (HC) initiatives. The role partners with leaders and stakeholders to prioritize recruitment, performance management, employee relations, talent management, reward and recognition, and initiatives to enhance people solutions aligned with the overall HC and business strategy. Attract Talent Follow recruitment and selection principles and implement practices to support the transformation plan. Adopt best practice in recruitment and selection. Follow HC policies and procedures that meet legal requirements, best practice and organisational objectives. Execute internal processes to ensure effective and efficient recruitment and selection. Recruit, select and onboard new employees as per agreed procedures. Work with leaders, understanding their departments and recruitment requirements. Maintain consistent service delivery to ensure client satisfaction. Conduct recruitment in alignment with the HC budget. Develop and Retain Talent Assist managers in identifying gaps for employee development to support delivery of KPIs aligned to the department and overall business strategy. Facilitate the performance management process with line managers and employees. Promote and encourage use of internal reward programmes such as Applause. Commit to developing self by staying up‑to‑date with HC best practice, local and international trends. Connecting Culture to Business Initiatives Ensure HC processes are executed in accordance with legislation, policies and internal processes. Support implementation of legislative and compliance matters relating to labour practices. Resolve HC payroll, benefit and other administrative queries effectively and within agreed timelines. Provide managers and employees with effective and appropriate advice and support on HC policies and procedures. Assist in the implementation of culture initiatives with the business unit, wider Glacier and Group. Contribute to development, testing and implementation of HC modules for SAP SuccessFactors (myWorkSpace) related to employee information, recruitment and selection, performance and goals, reward and recognition, budgets and succession planning. Support employee wellness programmes and initiatives (internal and group‑wide). Ensure all customer engagement and communications are considered from a TCF perspective as per TCF requirements. Lead, Influence and Facilitate Change Act as a change agent to enhance our growth culture—internally and externally focused, empowered, agile, courageous, passionate and accountable. Partner with leaders on organisation design and team dynamics. Support deployment of Group and Retail Affluent HC initiatives and programmes. Support people agenda items and assist in implementing activities related to various people forums within Glacier. Coordinate and roll out HC projects and initiatives. Qualifications and Experience Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources. Minimum of six (6) years of relevant HC experience within financial services. Up‑to‑date knowledge of employment legislation and HC best practices. Degree or diploma with 5 to 8 years of related experience. Human Resources administrative support, strategic HR planning and implementation, change management, HR compliance, HR best practices.
