There is an opportunity available in Sandton for a experienced Commercial Specialist (Estimator). Expected duties: Team Work and Client Maintenance Management. Monitor the day-to-day operations within the team and assist with all escalated issues. Any unresolved issues to be escalated to department supervisor and manager. Ensure customer relationship and communication is maintained properly. Estimates Management. Received RFQ (sea and road freight) from client and quote back with estimate within 3 working days. Update estimates to client if needed. Make sure certain profit (agreed by management) is met upon estimate. Price Comparison and Price Statement Management. RFQ must be sent to all whitelisted LSP/transporters within 1 day after receipt. The price collection should be completed within 3 working days and approval should be completed within 1 working day. Any deviation from original agreed quotation or additional charges, a statement must be done and approved before any action is taken Complete at least 30000 USD in logistics cost reduction this year and accurately register it in the cost reduction ledger. Truck Capacity Management. Assist to plan and coordinate transportation capacity with management. Manage the loading progress for Manono project and arranges vehicle entry and exit for the AW/BRIDGE warehouse. Query Resolution Management. Ensure the timely and efficient resolution of issues. Keep the department supervisor and manager updated until the issue is resolved. Record Keeping and Reporting. Fill in the feedback in a timely, complete and accurate manner on Tencent Document. Create and update working documents in One Drive in a timely manner. The work report completely and accurately reflects the work progress and the data is timely and accurate in the biweekly meeting. Complete it before 3rd of Each Month. All documents and information must be accurate, comprehensive and timely. Basic salary on offer: R to R negotiable depending on experience with benefits.
