The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP implementations, with specific expertise in South African Payroll. This role involves delivering a payroll solution with a focus on payroll compliance in South Africa. Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced SAP SuccessFactors EC Payroll Consultant with a strong background in South African Payroll. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in SAP implementations, with specific expertise in South African Payroll. This role involves delivering a payroll solution with a focus on payroll compliance in South Africa.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Success Factors EC Payroll Provide expert guidance on South African Payroll, ensuring compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements. Work closely with client to gather business requirements, design solutions, and configure SAP SuccessFactors to meet specific business needs. Oversee the integration of SAP SuccessFactors with other HR and financial systems, ensuring smooth data flow and accuracy, particularly related to payroll and benefits. Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and provide post-implementation support to ensure optimal system performance. Provide training and knowledge transfer to client teams, ensuring they are equipped to manage and operate the system independently. Collaborate with other SAP consultants, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. RequirementsRequired Skills and Experience :Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP HCM implementations and support, with a deep understanding of South African Payroll processes. Extensive hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors modules, especially Employee Central and Payroll. Strong knowledge of South African tax, UIF, and other payroll-related legislation. Proven experience in configuring SAP SuccessFactors for South African clients, including payroll-related integrations and reporting. In-depth understanding of the full SAP SuccessFactors life cycle, from requirements gathering to post-implementation support. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members at all levels. Strong project management skills with experience managing multiple priorities and deadlines. Relevant SAP SuccessFactors certification (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central, Payroll, etc.) is required. Desired AttributesAbility to work independently and manage client relationships effectively. Highly organized, with the ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities. A proactive attitude toward continuous learning and staying updated on emerging technologies and trends. Educational QualificationsA relevant degree or equivalent qualification in Human Resources, Information Technology, or a related field.
