FCS(SA) Primary. Valid registration with the HPCSA as an independent medical practitioner. Duties The successful candidate will be expected to work as a medical officer in the Paediatric Surgery Unit at Steve Biko Academic Hospital. The applicant will be required to work overtime and weekends as needed, according to the demands of the unit. Duties will include clinical work in the wards, outpatient department, and theatre. The applicant will be expected to actively participate in the academic program of the unit and research experience will be a definite advantage. Notes These positions are joint appointments between the Gauteng Department of Health and the following academic institutions: University of Witwatersrand / University of Pretoria / Sefako Makgatho University.
