Job Description We are seeking a talented and meticulous Technical Solution Demonstration Specialist to create comprehensive and impactful technical demonstrations of SUSE's cutting‑edge products and solutions. This role is pivotal in equipping our SUSE and partner technical sellers with the resources they need to effectively showcase the value and capabilities of our solutions to prospective customers. You will work closely with Product Marketing to understand key product features and the Sales Architect team to understand the customer requirements. Leveraging existing technical training materials and virtual environments as a starting point, you will develop a library of ready‑to‑use demonstrations, complete with detailed scripts and step‑by‑step directions. Key Responsibilities Design and build a portfolio of technical demonstrations that highlight key features and address common customer use cases across the SUSE portfolio. Create detailed scripts and step‑by‑step instructions to accompany each demonstration, ensuring clarity and ease of execution for technical sellers. Work closely with Product Marketing and key stakeholders in the sales enablement and Solution Architect teams to incorporate key product messaging, value propositions, and target audience requirements into demonstration content. Partner with the pre‑sales Solution Architect team to gather insights into customer needs, pain points, and desired outcomes, ensuring demonstration content is relevant and directly supports their sales efforts. Utilize existing technical training materials, documentation, and virtual lab environments as the foundation for demonstration content, ensuring consistency and accuracy. Maintain and update the virtual environments used as the basis for demonstrations, ensuring they are stable, functional, and reflect the latest product versions. Collaborate with technical sellers to gather feedback on the usability and effectiveness of the demonstration materials, incorporating learning for continuous improvement. Maintain clear documentation of the created demonstrations, scripts, and setup instructions, ensuring easy access and understanding for the technical sales teams and partners. Keep a deep understanding of SUSE products, new features, and industry trends to ensure demonstration materials are accurate and compelling. Qualifications And Experience Proven experience in a technical role, such as technical marketing, sales engineering, training, or system administration, with a strong understanding of enterprise software solutions. Solid technical aptitude and hands‑on experience with both Linux operating systems and Cloud Native solutions (e.g., virtualization, cloud computing, containers). Familiarity with SUSE products is a significant advantage. Excellent written communication skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and detailed technical documentation, including scripts and step‑by‑step instructions. Experience creating technical content, such as demonstrations, presentations, or tutorials. Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross‑functional team environment. Familiarity with virtualization technologies (primarily KVM) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is desirable. Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) is a plus.
