For our business, for clients, and for you Role summary: You will be a part of the Apex Group Technology team developing our modern solutions, process development, and automation to improve business process efficiencies; provide superior client digital services, and support the scaling of our operational model. Working as part of a team, delivering through agile methodologies. Managing team priorities and progress on agile boards. Design, prototype, develop, test, and deploy applications based on business requirements using agreed design patterns. Development of STP (Straight Through Process) solutions. Design and develop database structures to support solutions. Optimize the build and release process. Work in collaboration with customers, partners, and peers to identify requirements. Help break down large problems into smaller iterative steps. Contribute to defining the prioritization of your team’s backlog. Select the most appropriate tools, methods, and design patterns to satisfy requirements. Proactively improve processes where issues are identified. Provide guidance and training to other team members and API consumers. Assist in month-end maintenance and disaster recovery testing. Maintain SDAL on VSTS and Kanban boards. Skills and experience Core Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills. Ability to plan and manage your own workloads. Strong ability to train others within your team. Knowledge of trading platforms and financial system integration is advantageous. Familiar with agile methodologies and experienced in working in that way. Technical 3 to 5 years’ experience working with: Azure Integration framework. Microservices, API, and Event-Driven Architecture. Microsoft .NET and API development. Iway Service Manager and Iway Data Migrator (advantage). Primary Candidate Technologies: Azure Integration framework. Website technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript). SQL and Oracle databases. iWay Software platform (advantage). Git & GitHub. Valued Technologies Experience with tools like VSTS, test-driven development, and CI/CD practices. Experience working in a DevOps-oriented team.
