Duties & Responsibilities As a Senior Manager Deployment, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and timely deployment of new power and other solutions. You will be responsible for driving assigned solutions related to diesel savings while maintaining up-to-date trackers. Your role will involve liaising closely with vendors, approving weekly deployment plans, identifying solutions to problems faced during deployment, managing project budgets, setting up policies for quality delivery, and ensuring financial closure of all executed projects. Your ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders will be crucial in this role. Ensure efficient and timely deployment of new power and other solutions that meet industry best standards Drive deployment of assigned solutions related to diesel savings Advise the Director and other key members of senior management on planning, budgeting, cash flow, investment priorities, and policy matters Maintain up-to-date trackers and verify actual availability of resources and materials as stated by vendors Review and approve the weekly deployment plan and convene meetings with vendors to discuss the deployment approach Proactively identify solutions to problems faced during deployment, focusing on delivery and timelines Manage allocated project budgets, ensuring efficient commitment and capitalization Set up policies and procedures to facilitate quality delivery of projects by the regional team and site build contractors Ensure all executed projects completed by contractors are also financially closed Desired Experience & Qualification The ideal candidate for the Senior Manager Deployment position brings a wealth of experience in project management. They possess strong skills in program management, capital optimization, logistics management, vendor management, contract management, and power systems. Their background includes a Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications Engineering or related discipline. Specialist Masters in Engineering or an MBA, as well as professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2, will be considered a significant asset. They bring over 14 years of relevant experience in telecoms program management.
