On-Site Sales Executive

Role AltGen is looking for an On-Site Sales Executive to join a renewable energy company based in Gauteng. Responsibilities Drive profitable sales of Solar PV and BESS projects through targeted strategies and direct client engagement. Identify, qualify, and convert opportunities into signed deals with commercial and industrial clients and qualified partners. Sell renewable energy solutions through PPA agreements, lease agreements, and one‑off capital purchase models, tailoring solutions to client needs. Prepare tailored proposals, deliver in‑person presentations, and lead contract negotiations. Collaborate with engineering, project, finance, and legal teams to ensure solutions are technically and commercially sound and align with client objectives. Build and maintain strong client and partner relationships, including site visits and supporting long‑term partnerships that include marketing activities, strategic alignment discussions, and delivering best‑in‑class customer experience. Assist with day‑to‑day sales administration including calls, emails, diaries, and meeting coordination. Prepare proposals using internal tools (MS PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel); ensure CRM (HubSpot) records are accurate. Pre‑qualify inbound leads, gather project data and bills, and liaise between clients and internal teams. Support credit checks, documentation follow‑up, and agreement coordination for project approvals. Provide regular sales reports and ensure smooth communication between departments and partners. Requirements 3+ years of experience in B2B sales within renewables/energy sector. Proven track record selling complex infrastructure solutions (including Solar, BESS or related energy systems). Valid driver’s license. Ability to develop and implement sales strategies. Experience working on CRM tools. #J-18808-Ljbffr
