The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all sterilization equipment is functioning optimally and complies with required standards. This position requires attention to detail, good communication skills, and a commitment to patient care. Job Responsibilities: • Ensure that all sterilizing equipment is in working order and maintained according to manufacturer's instructions and established policies and procedures. • Monitor and record temperatures on sterilizers during cycles to ensure proper performance. • Inspect and test packaging materials to ensure they meet requirements for cleanliness and functionality. • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and testing. • Communicate effectively with other departments regarding equipment status and scheduling issues. • Clean and maintain work areas to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. • Participate in department meetings and training sessions as requested by management. • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
