What's Exciting About The Role As a Technical Project Manager you will coordinate the planning and delivery of payment solution projects across South Africa as part of the new Customer Success Implementations team. You will be at the heart of customer success, driving impactful projects and ensuring seamless delivery of Verifone’s cutting‑edge payment solutions. Key Responsibilities Coordinate delivery of small to medium‑sized technical projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and quality standards. Define project objectives, schedules and communication plans under senior guidance. Monitor risks and dependencies, escalating issues when needed. Support quality assurance of project deliverables. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and project leads. Work with technical teams to understand integration requirements and system dependencies. Translate basic technical concepts for non‑technical stakeholders. Serve as point of contact for customers during project execution. Participate in project meetings with clients and internal teams. Occasionally support on‑site client visits to aid delivery and relationship building. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams for resource coordination and issue resolution. Share knowledge and contribute to continuous improvement. Take ownership of personal development and stay informed on industry trends and PM practices. Skills and Experience We Desire Proven experience in customer success, project management or a related role, preferably within payments, fintech or SaaS. Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, project planning and execution, and critical problem solving. Strong verbal and written communication skills, engaging at all levels. Ability to understand and explain technical payment solutions to non‑technical audiences. Strong technical understanding, solid project coordination skills and effective engagement with internal teams and external customers.
