The role Reporting to the relevant Director the Senior Development Manager will lead urban renewal projects in the Hunter and Central Coast. You will have accountability and responsibility for the planning approvals delivery financial control and disposal of these projects. Critical to the success of this role is identifying and building relationships with targeted community and public and private stakeholders to forge secure and deliver partnership opportunities. This senior position will demonstrate an innovative and adaptable approach which supports the achievement of HCCDCs vision to grow diverse jobs and create more homes and attractive lifestyle opportunities in the Hunter and Central Coast regions. What you will bring to the role Over 5 years experience in property development and related fields Proven project management experience and expertise in overseeing and managing the full lifecycle of urban development projects Effective leadership skills with the ability to build supervise and inspire multidisciplinary teams including consultants and internal colleagues Skilled in stakeholder engagement and relationship management with demonstrated ability to interact positively and successfully with diverse groups and competing needs Analytical thinking problem solving and decision-making skills Highly motivated and self-driven professional Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Strong written and verbal communication skills What is an essential requirement Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline such as property development engineering land economics valuation commerce construction management architecture project management or planning.
