The purpose of this role is to work closely with various departments across the business and achieving a controlled and high level of financial awareness.

Duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Reporting and follow-up of financial checks for business
  • Resolve finance queries
  • Direct involvement and monitoring stock take variance reporting and investigations
  • Communicate anomalies to relevant parties
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closings
  • Assist with annual audit and BEE audit process
  • Fixed Asset Register
  • CAPEX reporting
  • Monthly reporting
  • Primary contact for insurance related support and claims

Education:
Completed BCom Degree (Finance, Accounting)

Job Experience & Skills Required:
  • 2 to 3 years' experience in an accounting position
  • Manufacturing industry experience essential
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Able to analyse statistical information and interpret financial data to produce reports
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Apply analytical and creative thinking
