Client Support Team Leader

OverviewCapital International is looking for a hardworking professional to join the Cape Town Client Servicing team and provide high quality services to our clients and internal investment operational teams. ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the client support queue and cases to always ensure excellent client service turn around timesMaintain all necessary controls to role and strive to eradicate errors, and in this fostering a strong working relationship with our compliance and Internal Audit teams to ensure the department meets its legislative and regulatory requirementsServe as the primary point of contact for assigned clientsAssist in compiling quality control checks and MI for the ManagerManage and train new members of the team in the different procedures and systemsStrive for continuous improvementDevelop service procedures. Polices and standards or serviceResponsible and accountable for adherence to the Company's AML procedures and the PFCM within the team at all timesAssist the CS Manager with all Quality Control checks requiredManage and delegate workloads within the team to ensure maximum productivityLeading the team to take ownership of client issues, following problems through to resolution and liaising between teams and departments to resolve queries when required. These include, but are not limited to : Maintaining up-to-date client records including verifying and updating client details, updating bank details and changes of address etc; processing account closures, death claims, payments in and out, resolving negative balances on accountsProducing statements and valuation reportsProcessing client withdrawal requestsCommission queries and or correctionsProject updates that may be requiredMaintain an orderly workflow according to prioritiesSupport other members of the Group Business Development team including Relationship Management, Business Development, Investment Management, marketing and manage projects as requiredBe actively involved in any team and company projectsAssist and share your knowledge of operational correctionsComplete the annual CPD hours required. Qualifications and ExperienceExperience required : Excellent knowledge of best practice, regulatory and legal requirements of an FSA regulated financial institutionMinimum months experience of Client Services and administration in the offshore Financial Services industryMinimum 12 months in a leadership role managing a team of peopleBachelors Degree or equivalent tertiary level qualification Skills RequiredAmbitiousStrong planning and organizational skillsDetail orientated with high accuracyStrong communication skills, both written and verbalStrong team worker and ability to take initiativeAble to work out of normal hours if requiredAnalytical mindset with a focus on client success metricsAbility to interpret data and generate actionable insightsAbility to align client goals with business objectivesAbility to mentor and develop junior team membersCollaborative mindset with a focus on team successAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesCritical Thinker Values and cultureAt all times the Groups values should be at the heart of everything and consistency of evidence of adherence to the values will be a key aspect of the role.Excellence – You will be actively finding ways to ensure that the service we offer our clients, both internal and external, is faultless.
