About the Role We are looking for an exceptional Geography Teacher to start in January 2026. Teachers lead instruction and planning for subject or grade‑level classrooms, driving a rigorous, enquiry‑based learning environment. Resident teachers are supported by Deans of Instruction who observe lessons, provide feedback, and coach. Key responsibilities for the role include: Deliver impactful and engaging enquiry‑based lessons, supported by technology. Infuse joy and passion for learning, motivating student excitement for academic excellence. Set and communicate rigorous, ambitious goals for all students and provide meaningful feedback. Conduct ongoing assessment of student progress and use data to adjust instruction. Attend weekly feedback meetings with Deans to enhance teaching practices. Fully participate in professional growth, including daily team meetings, weekly PD, instructional coaching, and organisation‑wide learning. Communicate regularly with parents via e‑mail, telephone, and parent‑teacher conferences. Contribute to co‑curricular programming for at least one activity per term. Serve on collaborative committees, fulfil supervision duties, and participate in morning, evening, and weekend events. About You Skills and Qualifications required: Bachelor’s degree in Education or a Post Graduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) – Specialising in Senior Phase. SACE registered. Geography teaching experience or curriculum knowledge. Knowledge of Cambridge curriculum objectives is advantageous. Ability to lead a classroom independently. Passion for teaching and deep care for student success. Understanding and enthusiasm for enquiry‑based, student‑centred learning. Knowledge of child development and connection with age‑appropriate students. A team player who enjoys collaborative problem‑solving. Proficiency with technology for instruction.
