Keyactivities include : Workcollaborativelywith the buying team to maximise sales, optimise inventory levels andgrow profit Analysisofmerchandise performance with relevant outcomes proposed Effectively develop,communicate, present and implement the product strategy Effectively develop, communicate, present and implement the location strategy Effectivelycommunicate, present and implement the promotional strategy alignedtomarketing campaigns Financialandstrategic management of the product e.g. product planning, allocations,controlling OTB, reviewing weekly & monthlyfigures Provide weeklyandmonthly trade feedback with associated action plans Managingmonthly,seasonal and financial year forecasts for productcategories Managing rangesizeand assortments Managingreplenishmentstock Establishandmaintain collaborative partnerships with internal and externalpartners, including suppliers KeyRequirements : Matric Relevant 3 year tertiary qualification 3 - 5 years + provenworking experience as a Merchandise Planner A high degree of numeracy and an analytical, detailed and strategic approach to work Computer literacy in MSOffice, excel (intermediate to advanced) Strong aptitude for ERP systems (Planning, Allocations, Buy-Plans, etc.) Strong businessacumen and merchant thinking Good organisationaland interpersonal skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Provendecision-making ability Preferencewill be given, but not limited to, candidates from designated groups in termsof the Employment Equity Act. #J-18808-Ljbffr
