About Us At McCulloch Harrison & Partners _ RehabMatters we specialise in multi‑disciplinary physical rehabilitation for adults. We place our patients and their families at the centre of the rehabilitation journey and aim to restore their identity and enable the fulfilment of their life roles. Our team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists works together to provide continuous care from acute treatment to outpatient therapy, and beyond into the community and the workplace. The dedicated Speech Therapy team supports patients in their recovery journey, focusing on expressive and receptive language, cognitive‑communication, dysphagia, and voice goals. Daily Responsibilities Deliver therapy in hospital, sub‑acute, out‑patient, home, or community‑based settings to help clients achieve personalised goals. Assess and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing difficulties. Provide indirect client services, including education and collaboration with family or care teams. Participate in team discussions and contribute to an integrated care approach. Maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory standards. Key Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology. Current HPCSA registration. South African citizen or valid work visa. Proof of Malpractice insurance. If currently working in public, proof of RWOPS letter. Experience in adult rehabilitation and multidisciplinary teams is an advantage. Valid driver's license and personal car to enable easy travel between units. Access to an IT device (phone, laptop, tablet) for clinical admin requirements on a web‑based portal. Additional Preferences Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in clinical documentation and basic IT platforms. Postgraduate courses in Dysphagia Management, Voice Therapy, and ICU airway care.
