Therapy Coordinator Royal Rehabilitation Hospital invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the following position. Responsibilities Receiving new admission information and disseminating to the multidisciplinary team (MDT) Developing protocols and policies Coordinating the multidisciplinary team in providing services to inpatients Drafting service level agreements (SLA) Facilitating weekly MDT patient discussion meetings to discuss new admissions, progress and discharge planning Compiling weekly MDT summary to communicate planning regarding patients from MDT meeting to the rest of the team Facilitating monthly multidisciplinary team management meetings and forums Organising multidisciplinary team strategic sessions, development and training Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of therapy sessions and therapists' performance Bi-annual performance review of service providers Compilation and editing of patient discharge reports and disseminating to referring doctors and patients / families Managing complaints, escalating to the correct party and compiling reports regarding complaints with action plans Communication and interaction with MDT head of departments in terms of queries, concerns, challenges or complaints Updating information of all members of the MDT – IDs, HPCSA certificates, medical insurance, qualifications Compiling investigative reports when queries arise and presenting findings to management Attendance of hospital managerial meetings Requirements A degree in Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy or Nursing (degree or diploma) Current registration with HPCSA / SANC At least 2 years of experience in the rehabilitation field and experience managing teams Experience in the private funder environment is an advantage Strong leadership qualities, result orientation, attention to detail, patient focus and excellent interpersonal skills Kindly email your CV with certified supporting documents before 31st October. #J-18808-Ljbffr
