Operations & Funding Manager greenABLE, a Non-Profit organization dedicated to recycling, refurbishing, and fostering a circular economy, is seeking a dynamic Operations & Funding Manager for its Pinetown branch. Reporting to the General Manager, the successful candidate will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and spearhead fundraising initiatives. Job Overview: This role demands a self-motivated individual with excellent attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong operational background. The Operations & Funding Manager will thrive in a fast-paced environment, working independently while ensuring operational efficiency. Duties & Responsibilities Establish and nurture relationships with potential local customers for recycled raw materials, primarily plastics. Process Purchase Orders and Invoices, address customer complaints, and handle queries. Liaise with the Production department to set and achieve daily production targets. Coordinate collections with service providers. Devise innovative solutions to waste management challenges. Assist in determining pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations. Compile weekly and monthly reports, including Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) reports. Manage the quote process and oversee collections. Identify and pursue funding opportunities. Complete funding applications and handle other ad hoc duties as required. Desired Experience & Qualification Grade 12 Must have a valid drivers licence. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook; experience with Sage Evolution is advantageous. Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with customers and suppliers. Understanding of the sales process and a commitment to excellent customer service. Strong sense of urgency and ability to multitask effectively. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Accuracy and diligence in task completion. Package & Remuneration 20CTC Interested?
