Position Overview The Executive Manager : Finance is responsible for the organisations overall financial management, including : Financial strategy and planning Budgeting and forecasting Tax, audit, and compliance Treasury and cash flow management System optimisation and technology integration Governance, controls, and risk management Leadership and development of the finance team Youll work closely with the Chief Financial Officer and other executive leaders to ensure sustainable growth and financial stability. Key Responsibilities Lead all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and transparency. Drive budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes across all business units. Oversee monthly and annual financial close processes. Ensure compliance with IFRS, Tax Acts, Companies Act, and other statutory requirements. Manage internal, external, and BBBEE audit processes. Implement and optimise finance-related technology systems and automation initiatives. Oversee treasury and working capital management. Prepare detailed management accounts, financial statements, and board reports. Develop and maintain strong governance frameworks and internal controls. Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team to enhance performance and capability. Minimum Requirements CA(SA) (essential) Minimum 5 years experience in a Senior Financial Management or Executive Finance position Proven record of managing and developing finance teams System migration experience (advantageous) Aviation industry experience (advantageous) Advanced proficiency in MS Office and Excel Experience using Sage Intacct preferred Key Skills and Competencies Strategic financial management and analytical capability Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS, governance, compliance) Advanced financial modelling and reporting skills Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement ability High attention to detail and professional integrity Effective decision-making under pressure Excellent time management and organisational skills About the Opportunity This is a high-impact, leadership role offering the opportunity to influence financial strategy at executive level.
