Solution Architect - Java Join to apply for the Solution Architect - Java role at Zensar Technologies Overview The Solution Architect is accountable for ensuring that technology solutions are designed and implemented according to Enterprise Architecture Requirements, Business Requirements and IT Development Standards to deliver towards strategic goals. Job Description This specialist role provides technical leadership across a variety of solutions within a value‑driven enterprise journey. The Architect plays a key role in designing end‑to‑end technology solutions, supporting engineering teams throughout the SDLC, and ensuring design documentation, ICDs, IT governance, and standards are met. Collaboration with other Architects, Principal Software Engineers, business analysts, UX designers, and developer teams is essential to deliver incremental releases that generate business value. Responsibilities Work closely with the technology tribe to design solutions that cross functional, product, and application boundaries, ensuring compliance with policies and standards. Act as the primary point of contact for resolving architectural issues. Serve as an SME for technical changes, providing estimates for new initiatives or product enhancements. Own, create, and maintain Solution Design documentation and obtain required sign‑offs. Contribute to design standards and patterns as part of the governing body. Support projects and product enhancements throughout the development and delivery lifecycle. Assist in incident/problem management, root‑cause analysis, and definition of solutions. Collaborate closely with engineering teams to encourage continuous improvement in build, test, and maintenance of systems. Essential Qualifications Demonstrable experience (ideally 5+ years) as a Solution Architect using a range of technologies, including Java/Spring, .NET, JavaScript, micro‑services, containers, databases, and cloud technologies. Background in development on large applications. Expertise in using tools and technologies for design, development, build, testing, and deployment across a wide range of applications. Confident communicator; able to present complex technical issues clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences. Experience with Agile methodology (ideally SAFe). Capable of multi‑tasking and prioritizing across multiple projects and initiatives. Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across the organization. Comfortable in fast‑paced, rapidly‑changing environments. Self‑motivated, goal‑oriented, with ownership of assigned tasks. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills. Desirable Qualifications Financial services experience. Experience with multiple architecture frameworks. Experience in both Waterfall and Agile delivery models. Experience with multiple cloud technologies. Regulatory Responsibilities (Standard for All Roles) Act with integrity and due skill, care, and diligence at all times. Treat customers fairly at all times. Ensure communications via any medium are clear, fair, and not misleading. Complete relevant internally arranged training on systems, processes, and regulatory requirements. Additional Information Expected to work closely with internal and external stakeholders, third‑party suppliers, and technology partners (on‑shore and off‑shore).
