Key Responsibilities:
  • Answer and direct all incoming calls efficiently and professionally.
  • Assist guests with queries, reservations, and requests over the phone.
  • Coordinate with various hotel departments (housekeeping, room service, maintenance) to ensure guest requests are fulfilled in a timely manner.
  • Handle emergency calls and communicate effectively with relevant personnel.
  • Provide information about the hotels services, facilities, and local attractions.
  • Log and relay messages accurately to guests and hotel staff.
  • Maintain knowledge of room availability and booking statuses.
  • Ensure all phone communications follow the hotel's standards for etiquette and professionalism.
Requirements:
  • Excellent verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Previous experience in a customer service or switchboard role is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to handle multiple phone lines and prioritize tasks in a busy environment.
  • Polite, patient, and service-oriented with a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with basic computer systems and switchboard software.
  • Ability to remain calm and efficient in emergency situations.
