Account Manager – Building Construction (Gauteng Talent Pool) at Hilti Group Make your career real with Hilti. We’re searching for an Account Manager based in the Gauteng region, with sales experience from the following trades: Building Construction Industry, Mechanical & Electrical, Façade and Interior finishing trades. This is a bench‑role designed to build a talent pipeline for future hiring needs. What You'll do You will take ownership of the assigned territory, develop sales using all elements of our sales process, analyse, implement and control opportunities to achieve targets. You will build relationships with partners, contractors, system integrators and end users, manage key products, and ensure successful introduction of new products. You will demonstrate, service, train and test Hilti products, collaborate across departments, understand the market and competitors, monitor product launches, and provide monthly reports. What You'll Bring Completed degree/diploma preferred, preferably business related. Knowledge and experience in construction trades and applications. Minimum 5 years sales experience in the construction/civil industry. Proven track record in a direct/technical sales role. Strong CRM understanding, preferably Salesforce. Strong operational, process, time‑management and administrative skills. Negotiation, listening, communication (English written and verbal) and presentation skills. Microsoft Office proficiency. An agile, solution‑oriented approach to problem solving. Strong business acumen with a team‑oriented attitude.
