Financial Reporting & Tax Manager – Mining Industry Location: eMalahleni The role requires a CA(SA) with strong technical accounting and taxation expertise, proficiency in IFRS, and at least 5 years of financial management experience. Responsibilities and Qualifications CA (SA) Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management and group reporting. Strong technical accounting and taxation expertise, practical experience in IFRS and Mining Tax. Proficient in financial reporting and consolidation systems. Skilled in analysing complex financial data to identify risks, opportunities, and strategic insights. High attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial reporting. Effective leadership and communication skills, guiding teams and presenting financial information clearly to stakeholders. Lead and manage full tax compliance for the Group across mining and normal tax, including provisional and deferred tax. Oversee tax planning, preparation, filing and handle SARS audits and queries. Provide expert tax and financial advice, reviewing budgets and financial reports to ensure optimal compliance and efficiency. Prepare and review annual financial statements for all Group entities and Trusts. Deliver accurate financial and tax reporting to all stakeholders. Ensure compliance with IFRS, internal policies and statutory reporting requirements. Support monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations and General Ledger reviews. Build strong relationships with internal departments, auditors, SARS and other external stakeholders. Contribute to ad hoc financial and tax-related projects, as required.
