Industrial Hardware Sales Representative

Duties & Responsibilities We are seeking an experienced and motivated Industrial Sales Representative to drive sales growth within the hardware and industrial supply sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of hardware products, industrial equipment, and customer needs across sectors such as manufacturing, construction, engineering, and maintenance.You will be responsible for developing strong relationships with distributors, contractors, and industrial clients, identifying opportunities, and delivering tailored solutions that meet performance and budget requirements.Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business DevelopmentIdentify, target, and secure new business opportunities within the hardware and industrial markets.Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure continued sales success.Prepare and deliver professional sales presentations, product demos, and quotations.Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms within approved company guidelines.Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.2. Market Intelligence & StrategyResearch and analyze market trends, competitor products, and customer needs.Provide regular feedback and recommendations to management regarding market opportunities.Contribute to the development of marketing initiatives, promotions, and trade show participation.3. Customer Service & Technical SupportOffer product knowledge and technical assistance to customers and partners.Collaborate with the internal support and logistics teams to ensure efficient order processing and delivery.Resolve customer concerns quickly and professionally to maintain long-term satisfaction.4. Reporting & AdministrationMaintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts in the CRM system.Prepare regular reports on performance metrics, market insights, and competitor activity.Qualifications & ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years of proven sales experience in the hardware, tools, or industrial supply industry.Strong understanding of hardware products, industrial fasteners, hand / power tools, safety equipment, or related lines.Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and close high-value deals.Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regionally.Skills & AttributesExcellent communication and negotiation skills.Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn product specifications quickly.Self-motivated, goal-driven, and comfortable working independently.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Customer-oriented mindset with a focus on long-term relationship building.Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) #J-18808-Ljbffr
