Our client is an emerging investment platform focused on the healthcare sector. They are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join their growing team. The firm operates with a lean, start-up mindset — offering the opportunity to take on wide-ranging responsibilities across lead generation, deal sourcing and relationship management. Key Responsibilities Deal Origination & Pipeline Development Conduct research to identify potential acquisition targets through market mapping and sector analysis. Engage directly with business owners, intermediaries, and advisors to establish and maintain deal flow. Represent the firm professionally across all external communications, including calls, emails, and meetings. This is a relationship‑driven, outbound role — perfect for someone who enjoys business development and the challenge of uncovering new opportunities. Relationship & Stakeholder Engagement Develop and nurture long‑term connections with Founders, CEOs, and business owners. Brokers, consultants, and other intermediaries. Articulate the firm’s investment philosophy and value proposition to potential partners and acquisition targets. Pipeline Management & Opportunity Assessment Maintain the CRM and deal tracking systems to ensure visibility and accuracy across the pipeline. Perform preliminary analysis of opportunities using key commercial and financial indicators such as revenue growth, profitability, and scalability. Balance analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strategic prioritization. Deal Execution Support Assist the investment team with market research, company profiling, and preparation of presentation materials. Early‑stage analysis and coordination of due diligence efforts. Provide end‑to‑end exposure to the investment lifecycle — from outreach to negotiation. Ideal Candidate Profile Experience 1–3 years in deal origination, business development, sales, or lead generation. Skills Strong communication abilities, organizational discipline, analytical mindset, and commercial curiosity. Personality Proactive self‑starter who excels in an autonomous, fast‑moving environment. Interest Areas Genuine enthusiasm for the healthcare sector.
