Join to apply for the Tech Lead - Ruby on Rails role at Supportwave Technical Lead - Ruby on Rails - Hybrid (3 days in-office, 2 days remote), 12-Month Contract As a Technical Lead, you'll guide development teams to deliver impactful software, conduct code reviews, design scalable architectures, and mentor junior engineers, fostering growth and technical excellence. Requirements Expert in Agile methodologies, Scrum, and DevOps principles. Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails. Extensive experience with software architecture and design patterns. Solid understanding of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modelling. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices. Advanced Git workflow management and CI practices. Strong communication and team management skills. Proactive learner with passion for industry trends. Entrepreneurial mindset focused on business value and strategic problem-solving. Preferred Proficiency in C# and React (or similar frameworks). Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and serverless architectures. Knowledge of robust monitoring and observability practices.
