Temp Material Control Analyst

The Temp Material Control Analyst will ensure the timely and sufficient supply of high-quality CKD and Direct Purchase components to production, in the most cost-effective manner. This role supports both customer demand and the company’s objectives relating to quality, cost, and scheduling. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory levels, including shortages, surpluses, potential obsolescence, and production run-outs. Place and track orders for parts while identifying and implementing solutions for shortage issues. Manage engineering changes and ensure smooth integration into production. Control and monitor key budget performance areas, including airfreight, SV costs, road haulage, inventory value, and claims management. Analyze daily critical parts reports to identify and mitigate potential production shortages. Initiate stock count requests for items not recently verified or where discrepancies exist. Review packing data to ensure stock receipts align with CKD order volumes. Calculate stock balancing quantities and place SV replenishment orders while considering airfreight cost implications. Coordinate with expeditors to ensure on-time delivery of stock to production. Work with logistics service providers and expediting officers to ensure timely container movement. Identify potential obsolete stock and coordinate with Product Engineering to implement stock deviation plans. Monitor and control stock movement related to ECR run-outs to minimize obsolescence. Ensure accurate and consistent forecasting of volumes released via VDA transmissions. Qualification Requirements National Diploma or Degree in Logistics , Purchasing , Materials Management , or Inventory Management Experience Requirements Minimum of 3 years’ experience in materials or inventory management within the automotive industry 1–2 years’ experience with SAP R / 3 in a production-controlled warehousing environment Essential Skills and Competencies Solid understanding of logistics principles and production systems Proficient in Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel and PowerPoint) and Group Systems Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities Excellent communication skills Detail-oriented, systematic, and persistent in resolving complex issues #J-18808-Ljbffr
