Job Description Develop, implement, and manage sustainability and wellness programmes across Standard Bank Group's real estate portfolio, aligning with ESG objectives and Net-Zero commitments. Provide advisory support, drive engagement, and ensure building performance and wellness initiatives contribute to sustainability disclosures and employee well-being. Qualifications A Degree or Post Graduate Degree in Environmental Sciences, Architecture, Engineering Sciences. Experience Required 8-10 years in sustainability or wellness-related roles, with at least 5 years within real estate, property management, or construction. Proven track record of developing and implementing programmes for real estate assets and managing building certification projects (GBCSA Greenstar, LEED, WELL, BREEAM). 5-7 years in building systems (HVAC, lighting, water) and sustainability metrics. Experience with data collection, reporting, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Managing consultants and vendors. Key Responsibilities Lead development and integration of real estate sustainability strategy aligned with ESG goals. Lead building certification process for standards such as GBCSA Greenstar, WELL. Develop real estate wellness guidelines and standards. Champion innovative sustainable real estate practices. Establish KPIs for sustainability and wellness initiatives. Advise senior management and executives on sustainability considerations. Integrate energy efficiency programmes across portfolio. Implement water quality strategies for buildings.
