  • To advice on labour-and industrial relations matters;
  • To support operational units on labour-and industrial relations related matters;
  • Representing the employer in negotiations and consultations with organized labour, subject to specific mandates;
  • To chair disciplinary and grievance processes;
  • Minimizing misconduct in the workplace and manage and mitigate NBCPSS and CCMA risks;
  • Dealing with, inter alia, NBCPSS and CCMA processes and applications;
  • Representing the employer in court, the NBCPSS, the CCMA and other forums;
Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:
  • Grade 12
  • Relevant university degree or diploma will be advantageous;
  • Minimum of 3 years relevant IR experience preferably in the Private Security Sector;
  • Sound and comprehensive knowledge of South African labour legislation;
  • Extensive knowledge and experience of the functioning of the NBCPSS and CCMA;
  • Computer literacy;
  • Good interpersonal skills, communication and writing skills;
  • Language proficiency: English and one other South African language ( read, write and speak);
  • Accountability and independence;
  • Must have excellent presentation, writing, verbal communication and report writing skills.
  • Willing to work long hours when required.
  • Willing to travel.
  • Own reliable transport.
