Creative Design The Designer is responsible for conceptualising new designs and modifications as required. They follow principles of good design and ensure output is of the highest quality, focusing on attention to detail. This role compiles innovative digital designs as and when needed. They also create marketing material for the organisation’s marketing and promotions departments. This includes but is not limited to HTML banners, landing pages, flyers, press ads and LED work. A big focus of this role is video and motion graphics. Best practice and research The Designer maintains creative knowledge by attending design workshops and reviewing professional publications on a regular basis. This enables them in taking a proactive approach to further develop knowledge and gain experience. Coaching The Designer is expected to coach more junior members of the team. They share their knowledge and experience and thereby upskill the team. Stakeholder Management The Designer works closely with key stakeholders through consistent communication to give feedback on progress. They interpret stakeholder briefs, and communicate them thereafter, to the relevant team members. This position requires trust and honesty; it has access to customers' financial details, therefore a credit and criminal record check will be conducted.
