We are looking for a Patient Consultant on a full-time basis (Remote: Pretoria or Johannesburg based) Founded in 2020, Weight Doctors are on a mission to address one of the world’s most widespread diseases. Weight Doctors offers innovative, minimally invasive medical therapies to help people who suffer from a serious weight problem. From medicine-based treatments, to advanced endoscopic technology, our temporary or permanent medical procedures reduce the size of the stomach without incisions or scars. Combining these low-risk therapies with additional focus on nutrition, movement and mindset, Weight Doctors enable people to achieve effective and sustained weight loss. We’re a team of surgeons, doctors, consultants and nutritionists who bring more than 25 years’ experience in the field of medical weight loss. Our patients’ wellbeing is our priority. We are committed to continuous innovation in the field of medical weight loss with an aim to provide truly effective therapies. With multiple locations in South Africa, and a global team extending to Germany, Netherlands, Namibia, and UK, we’re striving to make a big impact. We are looking for a Patient Consultant on a full-time basis (Remote: Pretoria or Johannesburg based) As a Patient Consultant, you accompany our patients along their journey with the Weight Doctors – beginning with the initial contact, continuing to their treatment day and through to their post-treatment support. Your responsibilities: Provide first contact support to patients Carry out consultations; understanding the patients’ needs to share treatment recommendations Ensure patient wellbeing before, during and after their treatment Documentation and medical compliance; Treatment planning and coordination; Collaborate with nutritionists, doctors and surgeons before and after treatments; and Travel to clinic locations as required (Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town) - approx. 1 day per week. Your profile: Proven customer service experience with both online and face-to-face interaction Background in nutrition, health sciences is beneficial Previous professional experience in the healthcare industry is preferred Native English speaker with excellent oral and written communication skills, additional language skills ideal What makes you stand out: Able to create a smile on people’s faces High level of empathy, enjoys working closely with people You are a team player Structured, organized work style Motivated to work in a dynamic, growing environment Hands on, with a “get things done” mentality Are you ready to make a BIG difference to peoples lives? #J-18808-Ljbffr
