Duties & Responsibilities Purpose of the Role Lion Match Company is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Regional Supply Planner to oversee supply planning, inventory management, and coordination between key business functions. The role is critical in ensuring supply continuity, optimizing stock levels, and enhancing supply chain performance across multiple regions. This is a collaborative role that works closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, procurement, supply planning, manufacturing, logistics, and warehousing teams. The Regional Supply Planner will ensure that demand and supply plans align with business objectives, utilizing forecasting tools, advanced analytics, and data-driven decision-making. Additionally, the role will work closely with category buyers, procurement officers, and supply planners to ensure seamless material flow across the supply chain. Desired Experience & Qualification Key Responsibilities Supply Planning & Coordination – Develop and execute regional supply plans, ensuring on-time and efficient stock replenishment across multiple sites. Collaborate with supply planners, category buyers, and procurement officers to align supply with demand forecasts and procurement strategies. Maintain optimal inventory levels, balancing service levels, working capital, and cost efficiencies. Ensure seamless coordination between manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics for smooth supply chain operations. Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring demand-supply alignment and proactive risk mitigation. Procurement & Supplier Collaboration Work closely with procurement officers to ensure timely purchase order (PO) processing, on-time deliveries, and supplier performance tracking. Collaborate with category buyers and procurement teams to optimize supplier relationships, cost management, and contract alignment. Assist procurement officers in managing purchase-to-payment (P2P) processes, ensuring on-time GRNs and supplier compliance. Support supplier negotiations by providing data-driven insights on stock requirements and replenishment needs. Forecasting & Analytics Utilize forecasting tools and data intelligence to anticipate supply needs and prevent stock shortages or overstocking. Analyze market trends, sales data, and operational insights to adjust supply plans accordingly. Work with sales and marketing teams to understand promotional impacts and seasonal demand fluctuations. Develop and present supply performance reports and recommendations for continuous improvement. Inventory & Logistics Management Monitor and control inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers to optimize stock availability. Work closely with logistics and warehousing teams to ensure efficient stock movement and storage utilization. Drive initiatives to reduce excess, ageing, and obsolete stock, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Process Improvement & Systems Utilization Leverage ERP systems (Syspro, SAGE, SAP, IBP, APO or similar) to enhance supply planning accuracy and efficiency. Identify and implement process improvements in supply chain operations to drive cost savings and operational excellence.
