What You’ll Be Rocking: Holding down the fort while consultants are away—managing re-quotes, operations, and proposals like a pro. Supporting agent and hosted educational trips with Sales teams, ensuring they're smooth from take-off to final smile. Loading bookings during peak times like a Tourplan warrior ️ and chasing down provisional bookings. Dishing out creativity—sourcing new suppliers and ideas that elevate the department's offerings. Following up on those dead leads (because even cold trails deserve warmth). Helping deliver unforgettable Small Group Journeys that combine logistics and wonder. Assisting in system rollouts, testing, and refinements that keep things running smoothly. What You Bring: 3–5 years’ inbound consulting experience (you’ve got the muscle and finesse). Tourism industry insight, destination know-how, and a sixth sense for what guests want. You know South Africa, Southern & East Africa like your favourite playlist. Analytical smarts + creative flair = your problem-solving toolkit. Tech-savvy across Tourplan, Wetu, and Microsoft Office. You move fast, think sharp, and bring heart into every client touchpoint. Your Superpowers: Self-motivation, emotional intelligence, and cool-headed decision-making. A knack for working solo and playing well with others. An admin lover who lives for structure and detail (but never at the expense of soul). A natural teacher and team-builder. Not target-driven—meaning-driven .
