Overview Specialist, Credit Trade Finance, Africa Regions Location: ZA, GP, Johannesburg, 30 Baker Street Business Segment: Business & Commercial Banking Responsibilities Advise on Trade Finance product risks to Credit Evaluation Managers, Heads of Credit, Trade Business Head as well as Business and Commercial Banking Head. Ensure controls over risks pre/post credit approval. Verify key documents, monitor Inventory/Commodity lending, inspect warehouses, and ensure collateral is stored properly (e.g. temperature, humidity etc.), Oversee distributor compliance with approved parameters and ensure that CMAs maintain tight control over physical stock and inspections. Qualifications Type of Qualification: First DegreeField of Study: Business Commerce, Finance and AccountingExperience Required Credit Risk – BCBRisk & Corporate Affairs5-7 yearsGeneral Credit Risk Experience is a requirement e.g., Credit assessment/evaluation and decisioning making in relevant segment and products. Thorough knowledge and understanding of financial statements and credit financial ratios, Knowledge and understanding of repayment structures, basic understanding of Agric, basic Trade Finance risks, Commodity & Inventory processes within the banking environment. Understanding of legalities associated with lending , collateral and Portfolio Management .
