Role responsibilities The Engineering Coordinator provides technical and administrative support to the Engineering Manager and the broader project team. This role plays a key part in coordinating engineering deliverables, managing project documentation, and supporting governance across all stages of multidisciplinary projects. Engineering & Technical Coordination Support the coordination of engineering design deliverables across disciplines. Track and update engineering deliverables register in alignment with project schedules. Assist with quality reviews and comment registers for design packages and vendor documents. Support and facilitate engineering design meetings / workshops and maintain action trackers. Project Administration and Governance Maintain project registers for correspondence, deliverables, and change requests. Assist with project reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking. Ensure compliance with internal quality management systems and engineering governance procedures. Support internal and client project audits and close‑out documentation. Coordinate with document control for transmittals and document version management. Financial and Commercial Support Support Engineering Manager with tracking project budgets, man‑hours, and progress against plan. Assist in preparing variation requests and subcontractor documentation. Support procurement and vendor coordination activities as required. Stakeholder Engagement Liaise with internal engineering teams, clients, and external contractors. Prepare meeting minutes and ensure timely follow‑up of actions. Support the Engineering Manager in ensuring alignment between project stakeholders, disciplines, and deliverables. Qualifications Bachelors degree or National Diploma in Engineering. Registered as a Candidate Engineer with ECSA and actively pursuing professional registration. 2-3 years of experience in an engineering or project environment (consulting or EPCM). Exposure to project coordination, document management, or project controls preferred. Basic understanding of project management principles (PMI, PRINCE2, or similar) advantageous.
