A leading organisation is seeking a Supply Management Specialist to oversee end-to-end supplier onboarding, governance, and performance – ensuring quality, delivery, and service standards are consistently met. Responsibilities Manage and maintain the global supplier database Oversee onboarding processes for prospective suppliers and maintain accurate records Implement a comprehensive supplier management strategy and governance framework Collate and verify documentation for supplier onboarding and compliance Monitor supplier and buyer performance, conducting regular evaluations and reviews Drive a rigorous Supplier Relationship Programme to support risk mitigation and effective collaboration Facilitate supplier performance management through KPIs, business reviews, and continuous improvement Lead escalations in high-risk environments and ensure positive resolution Report on agreement performance and overall service delivery outcomes Engage with Category Management to highlight risks and improvement opportunities Ensure onboarding compliance and escalate deviations to Legal where required Monitor supplier environments to identify trends, risks, and opportunities Build processes to gather and integrate stakeholder and supplier feedback Coach internal teams to set supplier objectives and optimise performance Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Commerce, Operations Management, Business Process Management, Analytics, Information Technology, or equivalent MCIPS, PMP or SCMP advantageous 1–3 years’ experience in supplier management Strong ability to develop SLAs Understanding of TCO-based contract performance measures Ability to manage changes in items, suppliers and contracts Proficiency in D365/AX and Excel Basic knowledge of Strategic Sourcing Understanding of business sustainability policies and BBBEE codes EE Disclaimer All positions will be filled in accordance with the company's Employment Equity plan.
