Currently searching for a Data Engineering and Architecture Lead with deep AWS Cloud expertise and a passion for solving complex data challenges. Responsibilities Lead design and implementation of enterprise data architecture and integration strategies Build and manage scalable, high-performance data pipelines Ensure data availability and quality to support analytics, BI, and AI initiatives Collaborate with business and technology teams to translate requirements into solutions Define best practices, enforce standards, and mentor a team of data engineers Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 10+ years' experience in data engineering or architecture 5+ years leadership experience 5+ years architectural experience Proven experience with AWS services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, EMR, Athena) Expertise in SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT development Knowledge of data modelling (Kimball, Data Vault) and data governance Leadership experience managing technical teams Deep AWS Cloud expertise and passion for solving complex data challenges Additional Information Reference Number GZ*****; permanent position based in Melrose Arch; salary R1.8m per annum negotiable on experience and ability.
