Commercial Finance Manager Our client, in the wine industry , is looking for a Commercial Finance Manager to join their team based in Stellenbosch as soon as possible. Overall position summary: Monitors and reports on management accounts and trends. Responsible for the ongoing analysis of process constraints, margin analysis, and tracing costs back to underlying activities. Responsibilities: Budget Management and Analysis: Monitor and analyze Management Accounts monthly to align with strategic goals. Coordinate annual budgeting accurately and timely, including departmental budgets and CAPEX. Provide regular reports on company financial performance. Prepare profit forecasts and propose solutions based on trend analysis. Financial and Administrative Oversight: Ensure adherence to IFRS for SME and internal accounting procedures. Manage monthly inventory adjustments and reconcile write-offs. Review overhead recovery accounts and conduct monthly costing processes. Continuously improve accounting processes for operational efficiency. Financial Support and Decision Making: Deliver timely and accurate financial information. Participate in management review meetings and support day-to-day problem-solving. Update reports on budget variances for informed decision-making. Manage delivery of financial information to Management and Stakeholders. Coordinate reporting activities, including gross profit analysis, expense tracking, and CAPEX monitoring. Requirements: Appropriate Accounting Qualification (CIMA / CA) SAGE X3, QlikSense & Advanced Excel Manufacturing & Costing experience The position is based in-office in Stellenbosch and is a permanent full-time position.
