Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role located in Pretoria for a Functions Coordinator. The Functions Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing events and functions. Tasks include liaising with clients to determine their requirements, ensuring all logistical aspects of events are handled smoothly, coordinating with various teams (such as catering, service staff, and logistics), and managing budgets and timelines. The role also involves ensuring exceptional customer service and attention to detail in the execution of functions. Qualifications Event planning and coordination skills, including logistics management Customer service skills to understand and meet client requirements Budget management and the ability to manage timelines effectively Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal teams Attention to detail and organizational skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools Experience in the catering or hospitality industry is a plus Willing to work the occasional school hokidays and weekends Excellent company benefits of retirement, funeral and death benefits. #J-18808-Ljbffr
